== Biography ==Alix de Bourgogne, was probably the eldest child of [[Bourgogne-183|Eudes II, Duc de Bourgogne]] (of the Capetian dynasty) and his wife, [[Champagne-114|Marie de Champagne]], and was born about 1146. She married [firstly?] about 1164, Archambaud 'le Jeune' de Bourbon, the son of Archambaud VI or VII, Sire de Bourbon and his wife, Agnès de Savoie. He was born on 29 June 1140, and may have ruled jointly with his father as Archambaud VII or VIII, but died before his father on 26 July 1169.

Alix, may have married secondly Eudes de Déopls, Seigneur de Châteaumeillent, but this marriage is only mentioned in one source, and the primary source for such a marriage is unclear.
She acting as regent for her daughter, and also became a nun in the Abbey of Fontevraud, where she succeeded her mother as Abbess about 1190. She died there in 1192 and is buried in the Abbey.
