An unnamed daughter and heiress of Roger Avenel, married Sir Henry Graham of Dalkeith. Her father died in 1243, and her husband acquired the "Lordships of Abercorn in Linlithgowshire, Kilbucho and Newlands in Peeblesshire, and Eskdale in Dumfriesshire" through her inheritance.
They possibly had six children;
