*He married Mariot Oliphant, daughter of Sir John Oliphant of Aberdalgy.
*He married, secondly, Lady Mary Stewart, daughter of Robert III Stewart, King of Scotland and Annabel Drummond, on 13 November 1413. He died in 1424.
*He lived at Kincardine, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.5 He was invested as a Knight. On 12 February 1407 he had a royal charter of an entail of the lands of Old Montrose.
