==Research Notes==*It has generally been claimed that Euphame Stewart, Countess Palatine of Strathearn, married (second) Patrick de Dunbar, Knt. of Bele, younger brother of George de Dunbar, 10th earl of March.Paul, Sir James Balfour. The Scots Peerage. Edinburgh: D.Douglas (1911), vol. 8, p. 260. Douglas Richardson, however, cites new evidence which shows the marriage actually belonged to Countess Euphame's mother-in-law, also named Euphame Stewart, daughter of Sir John Stewart of Railston, and widow of Patrick de Graham, Knt. of Kincardine and Dundaff. As proof that it was the elder Euphame Stewart who married (second) before 8 October 1408 Sir Patrick de Dunbar, Richardson cites a charter issued by the elder Euphame found in Registrum Episcopatus Brechinensis 2 (1856): 56-58.Douglas Richardson. Royal Ancestry: A Study in Colonial and Medieval Families, 5 vols, ed, Kimball G. Everingham (Salt Lake City: the author 2013), vol. 1, pp. 637 BRUS 10.i.a.Euphame Stewart (footnote 55) Stevens-17832 19:41, 10 January 2021 (UTC)

*This Egidia probably needs to be merged with Stewart-6424, Gille, after she is disconnected from William, "Lord Graham" and Alexander. This Egidia married Sir Patrick Graham of Kincardine according to SP, and was ultimately the ancestress of the Earls of Strathearn. Unless there is another citation which disproves my proposal.*The Scots Peerage : Founded On Wood's Ed.
