== Biography ==
'Violet Lyon was the daughter of John Lyon, 3rd Lord Glamis and Elizabeth Scrymgeour. She had a sister called Margaret. She married first Hugh Fraser, 1st Lord Lovat, son of Hugh Fraser, 8th of Lovat and Janet Dunbar, before 1464. She was also known as Margaret. From before 1464, her married name became Fraser.
She married second Sir Alexander Guthrie of Guthrie, son of Sir David Guthrie and Janet Dundas.
Her married name became Guthrie.
