== Biography ==
:Hugh was born before 1450. He succeeded his father before May 1455 while still a minor. He was placed in the care of the Earl of Moray. He was made a ''Peer of Parliament'' between the years 1456 and 1464, under the title of '''Lord Fraser of Lovat'''.
:Hugh married Violetta Lyon, daughter of Lord Glamis, before 1464. Hugh and Violetta had a son, Thomas, and two daughters, Margaret and Egidia. He passed away about 1500. Son, Reverend John Fraser.
