Fynvola was born about 1330. She was the daughter of [[Macleod-366|Torquil Og Macleod]].
Fynvola, mentioned as daughter to Torquil Macleod of Lewis, married Kenneth Mackenzie, chief of Clan Mackenzie and had issue a son Murdoch. He was imprisoned and executed in 1346, by the Earl of Ross, his feudal lord. The marriage must only have occurred shortly before and likely about 1345.[[#S-1]] Balfour Paul; Vol VII, page 496
