== Biography ==Thomas was born about 1290. He may have been the son of Sir Walter de Somerviile or, as proposed by Scot's Peerage, he was the son of Thomas de Somerville. Thomas married Elizabeth, daughter of James Douglas of Laudonia. After obtaining a papal dispensation in June of 1354. he married Maria de Waus.
