Richard Bruce was a younger son of [[Bruce-517|Robert (V) Bruce]], and his first wife [[Clare-18|Isabel de Clare]] and was perhaps born about 1249.
He died unmarried and without issue before 25 January 1286/87 and his lands reverted to his father,Cawley; Paul, p. 432
