On 7 May, 1250, licence was given for Margery, late the wife of Theobald le Butiler, to marry as she willed, and a mandate sent to John son of Geoffrey, justiciary of Ireland, to permit her to marry as she willed, and to let her have reasonable terms for the fine as expedient for the king.}

Margaret died in 1251.
On 1 March, 1253, Peter de Chauvent, king's yeoman, was granted the marriage of Margery, late the wife of Theobald le Butiller, so that if she paid a fine to marry who she wanted to marry, the fine was paid to de Chauvent.}
