Gille Brigte Strathearn

(Abt 1150 - Abt 1223)

}
== Biography ==Documentary evidence states that Gilbert married Maud, daughter of William d'Aubigny, but nothing says which William. Writers and websites vary, but circumstantial evidence and leading opinion all point to the William "Brito" of Belvoir who married Maud de St Liz - making Gilbert's wife the sister of the Magna Carta Surety, but not the same Maud who married Robert Tateshall.
Gilbert and his son Robert seem to have had no discernible surname, apart from Strathearn, but there seems to be no reason to call them Graham. They're supposed to have been natives, whereas the Grahams were Anglo-Norman colonists.
"Son" David is presumably a real Graham and doesn't belong in this family. See note on [[Graham-1151|David Graham]].
