She is commonly miscited as Leah in many genealogies of the family. This is due, as far as I can tell, to James Barnett Adair's misreading of Joseph's will. I have seen copies of the original and her name is definitely Jean. (The name Leah, although very biblical, does not appear in _any_ if their descendants). -- Lee Adair
