Find-A-Grave has her as the daughter of Edith Prater by her 2nd husband Jake Shepard, but Troy Sweat's obituary clearly indicates she was his daughter. Jake Shepard's obituary also states that she was his stepdaughter. Edith and Troy must have split and then Jeanette adopted her stepfather's surname.
