Ola "Fern" Broughton
Ola "Fern" Broughton, passed away Monday,
April 22, 2002 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 66.
Mrs. Broughton was born on February 9, 1936
to Raymond and Stella Wolfe in Sapulpa. She
lived in Sapulpa most of her life.
In November 1985, she married Ellis Broughton,
who preceded her in death January 24,1989.
She loved bingo, garage sales and traveling.
She loved her family very much, even taking
in herself to raise two grandchildren, Mandie
and Howard. She was always on the go and
could often be found cooking and cleaning for
others. She loved fishing and camping and if
you went and didn't take her with you, you
would hear about it. She was also known for
cooking her beans,
Mrs. Broughton was preceded in death by her
husband, Ellis Broughton, brothers and sisters,
Helen Turner, Howard Wolfe, LaWanda Broughton,
Melvin Wolfe and Marvin Wolfe.
She is survived by her children Phyllis Burch
of Dallas, Texas and Billy Baker of Sand Springs.
