Lawrence Kenneth Morrison
(2 Jun 1897 - 19 Jun 1937)
Lawrence was a Kansas City police officer. On 10 September 1936, while chasing a speeding motorist at 70 mph, he crashed his motorcycle and suffered injuries that proved to be fatal. After spending several months in a hospital, he died on 19 June 1937. The speeder was never caught.
