Marie Seal Ball, 91, died Monday, Nov. 22, 2004, in her residence.
She was a native of Kinder and a lifelong resident of the Lake Charles area. She was a lifetime member of Eastdale Baptist Church and was a member of 12 th Street Baptist Church. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include one son, Edward Arlen Ball and wife Judy of Sulphur; two daughters, Charlotte Trouth and husband Jim of Westlake, and Patsy Grabowski and husband Ed of Sulphur; eight grandchildren, Melissa and Michael Grabowski, Julie Constance, Kathryn Erbelding, Jeff Ball, Tracy Richard, Kim Snider, and Kevin Trouth; 16 greatgrandchildren, Sara, Roxanne, and Drew Lognion, Jessica and Lauren Grabowski, Amy Constance, Alex Navarre, Garrett, Grant, Ryan Erbelding, Amber Ball, Kaylee Richard, Emily and Colson Snider, and Tyler and Wyatt Trouth; two great-greatgrandchildren, Melissa Dowers and Annalea Dowers; and her loving caregivers, Lois Emery, Kay Meador, and Joyclyn Hebert. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward M. Ball.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. today, Nov. 24, in Hixson Funeral Home. The Rev. Don Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation is from 9 a.m. today. Pallbearers will be Michael Grabowski, Wallace Erbelding, Jeff Ball, Tim Richard, Kevin Trouth and Mike Snider. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.mem.com.
