Many researchers have this family confused, with a number of additional children assigned to him, all possible but none show in the family's Census listing. These children were Pauline, Japalene, Eugene, Erma Lee, Irene, Willis and William Howard (the last two are actually the same individual). These children are the children and stepchildren of a different Ezekiel Prater (1914-1975 ) by Arzelia Bailey, son of William Jackson Prater, This is proven in the will of their brother/half-brother Billy Howard (1936-2011), shown in Find-A-Grave (#65151797).
