!Name confirmed by L.W. Hartgrove her oldest brother in interview with
my father. Birth date confirmed in Glenn Alexander letter. Documentation
in my possession. Grandmother Mara Kirkman Hartgrove told me in a personal
interview in August 1989 that Bessie had died. She did not know when, but
said Uncle Glenn would know. I went to see Uncle Glenn, but he was feeling
terrible and it was not a good time to ask him for information on which I would
have to depend. Grandmother says her husband Frank is probably dead.
