!According to notes compiled in 1976 by Velma Daniel Crull, W.R. Daniel moved to Bell Co. in 1879. He was a pioneer in Temple being present when the first lots were sold. He went back to Tenn. for four years in early years of marriage. His middle name is shown as Richard.
!Death certificate lists name as William Richardson Daniel, age 81 years, 7 months, 2 days at time of death (16 dec 1942). Retired farmer, born 14 May 1862 in Rutherford Co. Tenn. Father Lucius Daniel and mother Mollie Hughes, both born in Tenn. Cause of death was pneumonia, with senility a contributing factor. Information on certificate was provided by "Mrs. B.R. Pope" (Lela Belle Daniel Pope). There is other information in the family suggesting his middle name was Richard, not Richardson.
