Death
Frederick WalzFrederick Walz, 8l, died Friday at his home in Bryan. He had been
in failing health for the past year.
Mr. Walz was born in Germany. He came to the United States at
the age of four years and has since been a resident of this vicinity. He was a retired fireman and was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Bryan.
Surviving are his wife, Lydia; a son Richard Walz, Bryan; three
daughters, Miss Lena Walz of West Unity, Mrs. Grace Calvin of Fayette and Mrs. Mary Jane Gentit, Stryker; a brother, Jacob Walz, Edon; a sister, Mrs. Kathryn Durr, Edon, 12 grandchildren and six great-grand-children.
Services were conducted Sunday in the Cretors and Kissell Funeral Home with the Rev. W. W. Powell officiating. Burial was in Fountain Grove Cemetery.
