OBITUARY :MRS. MARY LOU (ZIMMERMAN) CARBAUGH, 70, of 308 Barnett Avenue, Waynesboro, PA, died at 8:55 A.M., Monday, December 10, 2001 in Waynesboro Hospital. She had been in failing health since April 2001 and critically ill since Tuesday, December 4, 2001.Born April 18, 1931 in Waynesboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd Keith and Gladys Belle (Weagley) Zimmerman. She lived all of her life in the Waynesboro area.Mrs. Carbaugh graduated from Washington Township High School with the class of 1949.She and her husband, Mr. Orville G. Carbaugh, were married on November 13, 1948 in Hagerstown, MD. They moved to their present residence in May, 1960.Mrs. Carbaugh was employed as a sleeve setter by Stanley Company of Chambersburg, PA for 32 years, retiring in 1981. Earlier in her life, she had been a waitress at May's Tea Room.She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Waynesboro. She was also a member of South Chapter #2977 AARP and National AARP.She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and enjoyed traveling and shopping.In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Linda K. Harbaugh, Waynesboro; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Carolyn Sue Roy, Newport, RI; one brother, Harvey K. Zimmerman, Waynesboro; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, Donald L. Zimmerman.Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, December 13, 2001 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro with Pastor James T.
