widowed, son of Michael Quinn and Katherine Golden, husband of Margaret Reardond. cert 1811 and obit indicate a birth date of November 31, a date which doesn't exist------------THOMAS QUINN, SR., DEAD AT 91Death Came At Home Of His Son Here But Burial Was At Adair.Thomas Quinn, Sr., 91 years old, died about 9:30 o'clock Monday evening, Jan. 14, 1952. Death came at the home, east of St. Joseph Convent, of his son, Joseph Quinn, with whom he had lived since the death of his wife Jan. 7, 1948.Funeral services were at 9 o'clock this, Thursday, morning at St. Joseph Church, conducted by the Rev. Terence Mullins, pastor. Burial was in the St. Mary Cemetery at Adair beside the grave of Mrs. Quinn.Besides the son at whose home death came, there survive a daughter, Catherine, Mrs. D. L. Taylor, of Topeka, Kan., a number of grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Joseph Miller, of near Baring.Mr. Quinn was on of the nine children of Michael and Catherine Golden Quinn and he was born Nov. 31 [sic], 1860, at Ursa, Ill. When he was about 8 years old his parents moved to a farm near Adair and there he grew to manhood, and he has always lived since in that vicinity and in Edina. He and Mrs. Quinn, who was Miss Catherine Reardon, were married Feb. 19, 1895, and Mr. Quinn farmed as long as his health permitted.
