Kuhn, Sr., 74 of 9512 Cumberland Highway, Pleasant Hall, died Sunday morning April 9, in his home.Born Jun 3, 1914 in Letterkenny Township, he was the son of the late John E. and Effie (Hoover) Kuhn.For 30 years he had been employed by the Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, retiring in 1974.After his retirement from Letterkenny, he worked for the Fogelsanger Funeral Home in Shippensburg, retiring in 1987.Kuhn was a member of the King Street United Brethren Church of Chambersburg the Burton Men's Bible Class and the Master Men's International Missionary Group.He was a life member of the Pleasant Hall Fire Co., where he served as ambulance secretary, chaplain and a former trustee.He was a member of the Izaak Walton League of America and the Letterkenny Rod and Gun Club.Surviving are his wife, Helen (Stine) Kuhn, a native of Waynesboro; two sons, D. Lester Kuhn of Westminster, Md., and Dale F. Kuhn of Orrstown; one brother, Amos J. Kuhn of Chambersburg; five grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the King Street United Brethren Church, Chambersburg, with the Revs. Paul B. Baker, John A. Ile Jr. and Paul Hawbaker officiating.
