Thomas E. Pungock, 75, formerly of Crescent Twp., currently of Moon Twp. died on September 25, 2008. He was born on December 20, 1932 in Ambridge, the son of the late Michael Pungock & Hazel (Cope) Pungock.� � He attended Elkins College and held several distinguished positions in local government.� As an employee of Armco Steel for over 25 years, he then retired to be a public servant.� Thomas served as Treasurer for Crescent Twp. for over 40 years.� � He also served his country in the US Army during the Korean War.� Thomas was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Moon Twp.� His greatest interest & love was his family.� Thomas is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Delfine "Dale" (Tarquinio) Pungock.� Two children:� Reyne O'Shaughnessy - Goetze (Frank), Sewickley; Thomas M. Pungock (Terry), NC.� Five grandchildren:� Erica & Michael Pungock, Logan & Blake O'Shaughnessy & Grant Goetze. One great grandchild; and a sister, Vernelle Falkowski.� Friends will be received on Sunday from 1~5 PM in The Huntsman Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Moon Twp. (corner of Beaver Grade Rd. & Coraopolis Hts. Rd.) where a blessing service will be held at 9:30 AM Monday with The Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 AM at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Moon Twp., entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
