Lococo, 81, Palmetto, died Jan. 22, 2004. He was born Aug. 30, 1922, in Pittsburgh and came to Palmetto in 1980 from there. He was a car inspector for Pennsylvania Railroad/Conrail. He was former president of the Transport Workers Railroad Union of Pittsburgh for 37 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Dolores E.; daughters Virginia Smith and Rose Ann, both of Pittsburgh, and Lucy O'Neill of Bradenton; a son, Charles M. of Pittsburgh; sisters Pearl Helmstetter, Rose, and Frances, all of Pittsburgh; eight grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Kicliter Funeral Home, Palmetto. The service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Palmetto.
