REBA V. STAHL SHUNK, 101Reba V. Stahl Shunk, 101, of New Bloomfield died Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.She was born Jan. 27, 1905 in Millerstown.She liked reading her Bible, babies and hummingbirds.She was the widow of George R. Shunk Sr.Surviving are 12 children, George R. Jr. of Duncannon, Cyrus D. of Marysville, Joyce A. Briner of Mechanicsburg, Mildred Martin of Newburg, John D. of New Bloomfield, Mary V. Cain of Duncannon, Reba C. Butler of Newville, Faith Shunk of New Bloomfield, Rawn Shunk of New Bloomfield, Margaret S. Evans of Carlisle, Robert H. of Shippensburg and Suzanne M. Miller of Boiling Springs; 49 grandchildren; 79 great-grandchildren; and 40 great-great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy L. Smith; a grandson, Bradley Mitchem; two great-grandchildren, Clint Shunk and Lisa Briner; and nine brothers and sisters.Services were held April 1 in Perry Alliance Church, Shermans Dale, with the Rev. Simon Lehman Jr. officiating. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery, Millerstown.Ronald C.L. Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon, handled arrangements.Memorial contributions may be made to any charity or Mowersville Brethren in Christ Church, 14924 W. Creek Road, Newburg 17240.Endnotes
