Richard L. Weaver, 53, of Shippensburg RD 6 died Tuesday in Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
He was a veteran of the Korean War, a member of American Legion Post 223, VFW Post 6168, Moose Lodge 842, and the Teamsters Union, was president of the VFW Dart League, and was an employee of Mack Truck.
Surviving are his wife Carol M. Weaver; two sons, Bradley S. of Hanover, and Rodney E. of Newville; three daughters, Brenda L. Kennedy, Brigitte D. Green and Jamie D., all of Shippensburg; his parents, Violet L. Kauffman of Chambersburg, and Frank L. Weaver of Dillsburg; two brothers, Larry E. and Harold L., both of Shippensburg; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony G. Moore officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Graveside military services will be held.
