Milton Evertt Voyles

Milton Evertt "Buck" Voyles, 81, a resident of Gila, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 28. Mr. Voyles was a Shriner in Masonic Lodge No. 69 of Espanola, was a past director of Sunwest Bank board of Rio Arriba County and was a past board member of theEspanola School System. He was in the grocery business in Espanola for more than 30 years and was a resident of Gila for the last 7 years. He is survived by his wife, Lela Voyles of Gila; one daughter, Kathryn Jeanne Bishop and her husband, Hugh Bishop, of Gila; two sisters, Lillian Yates of Escondito, Calif., and Lucille Robson and her husband, Robert Robson, of Oceanside, Calif.; two granddaughters, Cody Lynn Hanagan and her husband, Michael Hanagan, and Dana Ann Bishop, all of Socorro; one grandson, Leith Martin Bishop and his wife, Diane Bishop, of Sierra Vista, Ariz., one great-grandson, Sean Martin Bishop; and numerous nephews and nieces. Services will be Thursday, Sept. 1, at 10 a.m. in the Curtis-Bright Chapel with the Rev. Edward J. Richmeyer officiating. A graveside service will follow at the Mesa Cemetery in Gila. Arrangements are by the Curtis-Bright Funeral Home.
