OBITUARY :
BENJAMIN DANSBERGER, 87, of Rt.7, died Tuesday at the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born in New Franklin, he was a son of John Adam and Lavina M. Little Dansberger. He was a member of Solomons United Church of Christ of Grindstone Hill. He was a telegraph operator for the Western Maryland Railway from 1905 to 1954.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Clarence 0. Leinger of Tampa, Fla., and Mrs. John H. Valentine of Rt.1. Chambersburg; a son, James W. Dansberger of Rt. 7. Chambersburg; 12 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Catherine Hammill of Chambersburg, and Mrs. Arthur Webber of Rt.6, Chambersburg.
Services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. at the Robert C. Sellers Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert E. Reasey will officiate; burial will be in Grindstone Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 7 to 9.
