J. Williams, 186 Washington street, after an illness extending over a period of several years. Mrs. Rumery, before her removal with her husband to Rockford, IL, was prominent in Oshkosh social circles and was a lady endowed with many rare accomplishments. For the past few years Mr. and Mrs. Rumery have lived in Rockford on account of the former's business being located at that point. A few months ago, however, Mrs. Rumery's illness, which was a bronchial affliction, grew more serious and she came to the home of her father in this city, where she expired last evening. The deceased was twenty-nine years of age and a member of Trinity Episcopal church of this city. A husband, a five year old son, a father, two brothers and two sisters survive. Private funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:30 o'clock at the residence, 186 Washington street, and public services at two o'clock at Trinity church, conducted by Rev. J. W. Greenwood.
