Death
Nancy, wife of Daniel Freeman of Van Buren township, died last Saturday, after only a few days illness. Her remains were interred Monday, at Star City. Her age was seventy-four years. She was born in Marion county, Ohio, and had lived in this county since 1855, having first settled at or near where Ripley now is. She was highly esteemed, as is also her aged husband, who survives her. (Pulaski Co. Democrat, Feb 18, 1898)Endnotes
