ROLLING MEADOWS - Robert K. Struggles Jr., 79, of Wisconsin Dells, WI, formerly of Rolling Meadows, died May 7, 2015, at St. Mary Hospital, Madison, WI. Born April 2, 1936, in Evanston. He was the former owner of Tamarack Specialties and a 25-year commissioner of the Rolling Meadows Park District, a member of the Rolling Meadows Kiwanis, a graduate of New Trier High School and the University of Miami, a former deacon of Community Church of Rolling Meadows, and a member of the Parks and Recreation Committee in Lake Delton, WI. He was the husband of Judith (nee Davisson); father of Richard, Teri (John) O'Donnell, Susan (Joseph) Bracco and the late Robert Struggles III; grandfather of Riki (Jeff) Charney, Kenneth Andejeski, Robert Struggles IV, Thaddeus Struggles, Mallory, James and Brendan O'Donnell, Joseph Bracco Jr., Cheri (Christopher) Westphal; great-grandfather of Kinsley Charney, Colton and Carlie Westphal; brother of Sandy (Wabbie) Wabiszewski, Sally Ringwood, Larry and Donald Struggles. Visitation Monday, 3 to 8 p.m. at Meadows Funeral Home, 3615 Kirchoff Road (½ block east of Route 53), Rolling Meadows, where services will be held Tuesday, at 11 a.m. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery, Skokie. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to his grandchildren's and great-grandchildren's education fund in care of the family.
