"OBITUARY - Henry Donor of Riceville - Riceville, Jan 16 - Henry Donor, brief
mention of whose sudden death on Thursday, Jan 10, was made in the Herald...was 60 years of age and is survived by his wife and three children, Mrs Jennie McGinnett of Athens, and Fred and William Donor of the same township. He also leaves five sisters, three brothers and five grand children. One sister preceded him to the grave by only one week. Mr Donor was a kind, devoted husband and loving, indulgent father. As a citizen and neighbor he will be deeply missed in the community where he lived. He was a veteran of the civil war, and a member of the 145th Regt Pa Vols, and a man of deeply patriotic principles. The funeral services were held in the U B church at Little Cooley on Sunday last, conducted by Rev Mr Reed. The pall bearers were members of the GAR of which deceased was also a member, and the floral offerings were beautiful. Interment took place in Little Cooley cemetery."
