Sunday, Feb. 10, 1901, occurred the death of Andrew Gipe at the home of his daughter, Mrs. William Lowry, near Falling Spring Dunkard Church (we think this supposed to mean Gipes Grove church) from a complication. He was a highly esteemed citizen of Guilford Township and was aged about 70 years. Funeral Wednesday at 10 o'clock a.m. Interment at the Dunkard Church, Falling Spring. About 2 years ago Mrs. Gipe, wife of the deceased, while in Chambersburg shopping took suddenly ill in Montgomery's Pharmacy and was removed to the Children's hospital where she died in the evening of the same day. Their surviving children are 2 sons and 2 daughters; Samuel and Joseph, and Mrs. William Lowry and Mrs. Christian Frey all of the county.""Gipe--Near Zumbro Feb. 10, 1901.
