Mary Lois MILLER, Missionary to Africa.
Miss Mary Lois MILLER, 73, of Juniata, Altoona, died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007, at her home. A funeral was held Saturday morning at the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Juniata, by Pastor Rodney Lingenfelter. Burial was in the Brumbaugh Cemetery, Fredericksburg, Martinsburg RR 2.
She was born in Altoona, a daughter of I. Emery and Lucinda Jane (Brumbaugh) MILLER. Her maternal grandparents were John (sic)and Lucinda BRUMBAUGH of Morrisons Cove, who for a time operated a store in Fredericksburg.
Miss MILLER was a missionary to Africa for 25 years and was a registered nurse and midwife at Lewistown Hospital for many years.
