Marriage
REED - BRUMBAUGH. Carl Elton Reed of 1803 First avenue, an employe of the Pennsylvania railroad, and Miss Stella May Brumbaugh, of 2620 Oak avenue, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Brumbaugh, were quietly married on Thursday evening at 9 o'clock by Rev. G. F. Snyder, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran church, at the home of the bride. The young couple were attended by Mr. and Mrs. William Shade. Only immediate relatives of the bride and bridegroom witnessed the ceremony. Delicious refreshments were then served. A war touch was given to the nuptials as the bridegroom leaves next week for camp at Laurel, Md., where he will serve his country in the engineering corps.
