Lancaster, Wis. - Davis R. SLAGHT, 74, of Homosassa, Fla., formerly of the Beetown area, died Thursday, March 1, 1990, at Seven Rivers Community Hospital, Crystal River, Fla. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at O'Rourke-Schwartz Funeral Home, Lancaster, where friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Lancaster.
Mr. SLAGHT was a mobile home park developer. He was born on April 1, 1915, in Beetown, son of Floyd and Mildred (Bambrough) SLAGHT. He married Ann Elizabeth PUTNAM; she survives. Also surviving are four sons, James of Homosassa, Steven and Jeffrey, both of North Platte, Neb., and Dale of Divide, Mont., two daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Deborah) LEES of Chesapeake, Va., and Mrs. Gary (Dixie) DANNENBURG of Westminster, Colo.; 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; a brother, Robert F. of Beetown and Belleview, Fla.; and three sisters, Mrs. Lawrence (Ruth) CHAPMAN of Darlington, Mrs. Louis (Grace) BELSCAMPER of Prairie du Chien and Mrs. Stanley (Charlotte) SMITH of Lancaster. He was preceded in death by a son, Richard.
