Death



DEATH NOTICE. WILLIAM EDWARD CROMER, died at his home, 2303 Eight
avenue, last evening at 6:30 o’clock, death resulting from a
complication of diseases after an illness of three weeks. He was the
son of Isaac and Catharine CROMER, both deceased and was born in
Altoona Aug 26, 1859. He was united in marriage with Sarah CLABAUGH on
Oct 2, 1875. The following children survive: Mrs. George HARE, Harry F.
and Mrs. Margaret SMITH, all of Altoona. Mrs. Bella G. FARREN of
Philadelphia and Mrs. Bertha E. BECHTEL of Woodbury. The following
brothers and sisters also survive: Mrs. Margaret LAW of Philadelphia,
Mrs. Sarah JOHNSON of Sunbrook, Mrs. Emma LONG of Roselawn, Charles
CROMER of Ohio and Harry of Altoona. Five grandchildren also survive.
He was employed in the car shop department of the Pensylvania Railroad
and was a member of the Railroad Relief. Funeral services will be held
Friday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock with services in the Grace Reformed
church. Interment will be made in Rose Hill cemetery.
