Marriage
"In JCHS Film 'Juniata County Marriage License Docket 1852-1853, 1858-1863,' p. 480, entry 234, is found an application to marry by Wilsanna Sulouff, age 19, Patterson, daughter of John and Hanna Thompson; date former husband died Dec 1887; living at home, a widow. [Her betrothed was Charles S. Ernest, age 21, a Patterson Railroad Employee, son of John & Mary Ernest. Wilsanna and Charles obtained their marriage license on 17 June 1889 and were married the same day by Rev. E. E. Berry.] Wilsanna's first husband, Andrew J. Sulouff, had died on 8/30/1887 at the age of 21 (using his gravestone date of death instead of the probably erroneous date of "Dec 1887" written on Wilsanna's marriage application.)"
