Death
Oliver Calvin Morningstar of Saxton died suddenly at his home on Friday, February 11,1955, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. He had been in poor health for some time. He was born at Tatesville, Bedford County, on July 26, 1872. Son of Samuel H. and Martha Jane(Russell), Morningstar. He never married.
Mr.Morningstar was a member of the Methodist Church and of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, both of Saxton. He was a school teacher and office clerk during his active life.
He is survived by two brothers, Charles Morningstar and J. Harry Morningstar, both of Saxton.
Funeral services will be held at the Huff funeral chapel in Saxton on Monday, February 14,at 2:30 p.m., in charge of his pastor, the Rev. Joseph Wagner. Interment will be made in the Fockler Cemetery at Saxton. Friends may call at the funeral chapel.
