M. BEAVER 1939 has some slight discrepancies concerning Anthony BEAVER and
his two wives. Anthony BEAVER was married both times to a CLAPPER woman.
His first wife was Mary CLAPPER, daughter of Henry I and Christena CLAPPER in
1786. She died in January 1791 and in June 1791 Anthony married Susan
CLAPPER, daughter of Hermanus II and Catherine CLAPPER.
The father of Anthony BEAVER, Nicholas BEAVER, also married twice.
Nicholas was a Pvt. in the German Regiment during the Revolutionary War and
according to SAR records he was first married to Katarine WATHKINS in 1757 in
Philadelphia. His second marriage was to Katharine ZIMMER in 1765.
