I, Catharine CLAPPER, now Catharine MYERS, wife of Samuel MYERS, deceased, live in North Woodbury Township in the County of Blair, and State of Pennsylvania. Am seventy-eight (78) years old and a daughter of Harmon CLAPPER. My mother's name was Amelia and a daughter of John BRUMBAUGH originally came from Germany and emigrated first to Washington County, Maryland from that place to Morrison's Cove now Blair County, Pennsylvania. He was about eighty some years when he died. He died in A.D.1823. My grandfather John Brumbaugh was married.
I often heard it said that he was married to a certain Mary Elizabeth
Metzger. He was married in Germany. I know Daniel Kensinger, he was married to Anna Maria Brumbaugh, a daughter of John Brumbaugh, my grandfather.
