Daniel D. RICHARDS

(8 FEB 1853 - 5 MAR 1915)

I (Jeanne CALLAHAN) found an obit for Daniel D. RICHARDS on Microfilm of the Daily Journal at the Philipsburg Historical Society. According to the obit dated 6 MAR 1915:
Daniel died 5 MAR 1915 at his home in Wallaceton, PA.
It shows he married Amelia SLOAN in 1877 and she died 2 DEC 1902. He then married Mrs. Mary TURNER on 24 FEB 1904. It says Mr. RICHARDS had no children from either marriage, so one assumes the children were step children.
At the time of his death, he was survived by his wife and the siblings; Mrs. M. F. ASKEY, Mrs. Martha "GRIM", and J. S. RICHARDS. He was the sixth child of James and Susannah RICHARDS. Three brothers died before him; Hardman, John and George as well as one sister, Mrs. Robert WHITE of Canada.
