Death
THOMPSON, Mildred Burgess Age 93, passed away November 19, 2012. Widow of Bob Thompson, who was the Service Manger for General Tire for 40 years. She and her husband were always fishing at Old Hickory Lake, where they lived for 30 years. Preceded in death by parents, Bob & Ida Burgess of Brush Creek, TN. She was the last surviving member of her 4 brothers and 8 sisters. Survived by daughter, Becky Stacey (Steve); granddaughter, Shelley Escue (Travis); great-grandsons, Neal & Hunter Escue; great-granddaughter, Brooke Rollin (Dusty). Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at the Hermitage Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be from 10 a.m. until time of the service.
