Death
LEWISTOWN - Betty F. Singley, 80, of Ohesson Manor Nursing Home, died at 8 a.m. Tuesday, July 16, 2002, at the nursing home. Born Sept. 10, 1921, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Elder M. and Louise J. (Gearhart) Singley. She is survived by a brother, Elder M. Singley of 1496 Back Maitland Rd., Lewistown. She was preceded in death by two sisters. She was a cashier at the American Viscose Corporation for 36 years until 1972, then she was employed at Lewistown Speciality Yarns until retirement. Later she was employed at the PennDot Photo Center. Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Heller-Hoenstine Woodlawn Funeral Home, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, with the Rev. Elder Mike Balko officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Rock Cemetery. Friends may call 10 a.m. until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home.
