They established their home in Finksburg, MD. Stan was elected to WHO'S WHO IN AMERICAN COLLEGES in 1952 when he received his BA from Western Maryland College. From 1952 to 1954, he served as training officer with the 101st Airborn Division, Camp Breckenridge, KY and received his Captain's commission in 1958. He returned to his alma mater and received his master's degree in 1959 while teaching at Baltimore Junior College. At the University of Iowa in 1966, he obtained his PhD in College Administration, and accepted a professorship in education at Western Maryland College. In 1982 he was head of the education department and dean of graduate studies.
