Aaron BOWLBY

(1772 - ABT 13 MAY 1857)

Aaron is believed to be a son of Samuel BOWLBY (9) by a first wife whose name is unknown. The six children by this first marriage would have been born around the turn of the 19th. century in Sussex Co., NJ.. Aaron was born in 1804 according to the 1850 census of Bethlehem, Hunterdon Co., NJ.. He died 13 MAY 1887 and was buried in Union Cem., Hunterdon Co.. His death certificate states that his father's name was Samuel BOWLBY, but does not give his mother's name. Norton Cemetery and Union Cemetery, where Aaron was buried, are believed to be the same.
