Rev. John Edward STONE, A.B. A.B., 1875-1916, Class of 1900 and 1903 Theology.
Born 13 July 1875 near Marklesburg, Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania, 13 July 1875, only son of Henry H. and Ellen (Thompson) STONE. Licensed by Juniata Classis at the 1903 meeting in Christ Church, Altoona, PA. Pastor at Thornville, OH, until he accepted position at Christ Church, Roaring Spring, PA, in 1913. Married to Nellie R. CULBERT, daughter of Dr. J.W. CULBERT of Collegeville; three children. Died from heart disease 20 May 1916 at Roaring Spring. Interred at Zion Reformed Church cemetery, Marklesburg, PA.
