Death

Nedra L. Meyer January 5, 1943 - December 22, 2007 Nedra L. Meyer, 64, of Coburn, died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2007, at her home. Born Jan. 5, 1943, in Coburn, she was a daughter of the late Roy Ripka and Mary Klinefelder Ripka. On Nov. 11, 1961, in Eisenhower Chapel at Penn State, she married Robert C. Meyer Sr., who died May 12, 1993. Nedra was a 1960 graduate of Penns Valley High School and was certified as a licensed practical nurse by the Bellefonte School District in 1961. She was an LPN for the Pennsylvania State Correctional Institution at Rockview, Laurelton State Hospital and nursing homes.
She is survived by two daughters, Gina L. Kreps and her husband, David, of Spring Mills, and Judith A. Ribblett and her husbaned, Patrick, of Bedford; a son, Robert C. Meyer Jr., of Coburn; David E. Prout, whom Bob and Nedra helped raise; three grandchildren, Kyle and Maria Kreps, Justin Kreps and Thomas Ribblett; a great-granddaughter, Donovan Kreps; and two sisters, Darlene Rhoads, of Aaronsburg, and Connie Rawles, of Spring Mills.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Ripka.
Family and friends my call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007, at Steven R. Neff Funeral Home, Millheim. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2007, at the funeral home, with the Rev. K.R. Mele officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Spring Mills.
