Death
“Charles E. PUTT of Saxton died at 4:30 a.m. today, Friday, August 12, 1960, at his residence. He had been ill since October of 1959. He was born April 19, 1881, at Saxton, R.D., a son of Mr. and Mrs. David PUTT. He was married to Emma Belle DICK on September 5, 1906, at Saxton. His wife is surviving along with one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth DONELSON of Huntingdon. He was a member of the Church of God of Saxton. Mr. Putt was a carpenter by trade. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 14, at 2 p.m. from the Masood funeral chapel. The Rev. Herbert A. Boyles will officiate. Interment will be made in the Grandview Cemetery at Saxton. Friends may call at the funeral chapel after 10 a.m. on Saturday until the hour for the service.”
